My name is Saba Devdariani, and I am a Beatriu de Pinós Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Barcelona. In my research I employ formal theory models to study questions in Political Economy, Microeconomics, and Bureaucratic Politics.
Previously, I was an instructor at the University of Manchester and a postdoctoral researcher at the rank of instructor at the Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago.
I hold a Ph.D. in Social Sciences (Political Science) from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), an M.A. in Economics from ISET (International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University), and a B.A. in Business Administration from Tbilisi State University.
My primary fields include Applied Theory in Political Science, Political Economy, American Politics, Bureaucracy, and Formal Theory, with secondary interests in Experimental Methods and Matching Theory.
